年明けのパーティ以来、久々のZim Zam Zuの開催に、ソウルフルなヴォーカルを放つSSW、Martelのライヴ、来日中のデンマークを拠点に置くドイツ人のDJ/プロデューサー、Robin Fluxと東京在住の北欧プロデューサー、Cato Canariといったバラエティに富んだ内容を披露する予定。
音楽を通して、新しい時代に向け、スピリチュアル・メッセージを発信し続け、哀愁が漂う、極上なブルーアイド・ソウルな歌声で歌い、独自の世界観を表現するシンガー・ソングライター、マーテル。今までThird Ear、Jazzy SportやAvexから精力的に作品を出し、去年8月にFlower Recordsからリリースしたレゲエ・ディスコ・ロッカーズによる、ニール・ヤングの代表作「Harvest Moon」のラヴァーズ・ロック流のカヴァーでゲスト・ヴォーカリストとしてフィーチャーされ、国内外で話題になったのが記憶が新しい。今回のZim Zam Zuに招き、鍵盤を弾きながら、独特なソウルフルな歌声で歌うセットを披露して頂く予定で、お見逃しなく！ また、年明けにMax Essaと渋谷のTunnelで共演を果たし、そのプレイが大絶賛されるあまり、Maxから再びDJのお誘いを受けたコペンハーゲンを拠点に置くDJ/プロデューサー/ ダンサーであるRobin Flux。ハウスとテクノの狭間に行き来しつつ、トライバル、ブレイクビーツ、ディスコをミックスし、独自のテイストでプレイし、世界中を駆け巡り、大活躍している彼自身のプレイは楽しみ！ そして、もう一人のゲストDJはチル、エクスペリメンタル、ダンスなど幅広いジャンルをかけ混ぜ、予測不可能なサウンドで聴衆を魅了する東京在住のノルウェイ人のDJ/プロデューサー、Cato Canari。去年Trushmix誌で投稿したミックスはドイツのクラブ・ミュージック界を代表する専門雑誌、Groove誌の年間最優秀ミックスの一つとして選ばれ、今回のZim Zam Zuは聴き応えがあるプレイをするに違いない！
For our upcoming Zim Zam Zu party which will be our first one since the beginning of the year, we have invited a blued-eyed soul singing SSW, Martel as the guest live performer, Denmark based German DJ/producer Robin Flux and Tokyo-based Scandinavian producer Cato Canari and more. This event will be rich in musical variety! Martel is a singer/songwriter who continues to express spiritual messages for a new era and his unique worldview through his music through his melancholic, uber blue-eyed soulful vocals. Previously releasing albums on Third Ear, Jazzy Sport, and Avex and Martel was featured as a guest vocalist on the cover of Neil Young's classic song, "Harvest Moon" by the Reggae Disco Rockers that was released last August on Flower Records. This memorable lovers rock tinged Harvest Moon sung by Martel became a huge hit for those who know & Balearic central! Martel is scheduled to perform a set at Zim Zam Zu in which he will sing his own unique, soulful voice while playing the keys! Robin Flux is a Copenhagen-based DJ/producer/dancer who played with Max Essa at Tunnel in Shibuya at the beginning of the year to great acclaim so Max invited him to DJ again with him. Robin is a DJ who mixes house and techno with tribal, breakbeats, and disco, and plays with his own unique style and is very active as a DJ traveling all over the world! Another guest DJ is Cato Canari, a Norwegian DJ/producer living in Tokyo who mixes chill, experimental, and dance with a wide range of genres and captivates audiences with his unpredictable sound. His mix for Trushmix magazine last year was voted one of the mixed of the year by Groove, Germany's leading club music publication and this time they will both be guest DJing together at Zim Zam Zu which will surely be a treat!
MARTER（マーテル）
東京生まれ。14歳の時にロスに移住し、高校時代にベースの虜になり音楽の道に進むことを決心。Berklee College of Musicに入学し、様々なミュージシャン、ジャンルの音楽と触れ合う。2002年に宅録音された作品『樹海』『月の出汐』をリリースし、メディア/国内外のミュージシャンから絶賛される。2005年にアルバム『Preferable Reality』を完成し、ヨーロッパ・ツアーへ。世界最大のエレクトロニック・ミュージック・フェスティヴァル 「sonar 2005」 に正式招待され、ライブを敢行。mixmaster morris, rei harakamiをはじめとする国内外のアーティストから高い評価を得る。2009年にはベルリン滞在中に製作されたアルバム『weltraumastethik』をThird Earから発表。そして2012年にはJazzy Sportからアルバム『Finding & Searching』を出す。収録曲『When I'm with you』は、iTunesの2012年度「ベスト・オブ・2012」賞の「Best R&B song」に選ばれる。2014年10月に『Songs of four seasons』をリリース。2017年にChara『sweet and soul session tour』にKan Sanoと共に参加。2017年5月に新作『This Journey』を発表（iTunes R&B chartで1位を獲得）。7月にはFuji Rock Festivalに出演する。2019年にAvexよりメジャー・デビューし、『By the Ocean』をリリース。2022年にはニュー・アルバム『Through the Days of Fullfillment』をリリース。
MARTER
Born in Tokyo, MARTER moved to L.A. when he was 14 years old. In high school, he was captivated by the bass guitar and decided to pursue a career in music. At Berklee College of Music, he was exposed to various musicians and genres of music. In 2002, he released the following albums, Jukai and Tsuki no Deshio that was recorded at home. Both albums received critical acclaim by the media and musicians in Japan and abroad. In 2005, he completed the album, Preferable Reality (Third Ear) and went on a European tour. He was officially invited to perform at sonar 2005. His album received wide acclaim from DJs and artists such as Mixmaster Morris, Rei Harakami, and other artists in Japan and abroad. In 2009, he released the album, Weltraumastethik (disques corde) produced during his stay in Berlin. In 2012, he released the album "Finding & Searching" on Jazzy Sport. The song "When I'm with you" was selected as the Best R&B song in the iTunes Best of 2012 awards. In October 2014, he released the album Songs of Four Seasons (Jazzy Sport). He participated (with Kan Sano) in Chara's "sweet and soul session tour" in 2017. Released a new album, This Journey in May 2017 (#1 on iTunes R&B chart); performed at Fuji Rock Festival in July. In 2019, he will release his major label debut album, By the Ocean from Avex. In 2022, he released his latest album, Through the Days of Fullfillment. Through his music, he continues to send out spiritual messages for a new era.

デンマークのコペンハーゲンを拠点に活動するドイツ人プロデューサー、DJ、ダンサー、アーティストであるRobin Flux。USのアンダーグラウンド・ダンスとクラブ・カルチャーの黎明期に影響され、ハウスとテクノの間に、ボール・ルーム、ガラージ、トライバル、ブレイクビーツ、ディスコを取り入れた独自のスタイルを確立した。
ハウス・ダンス、ワッキング、ボールルームのコミュニティで活動し、ダンス・カルチャーと表現の自由のためのクィア・セーフスペースを作ることが、彼の仕事の大きな原動力となっている。近年は、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、アジアなど世界各地でギグやパーティを開催し、Miura Recordsなどの国際的な知名度の高いレーベルから継続的に音楽をリリースしており、XLR8R、The Lot Radio NYC、Dure Vie Parisなどでも取り上げられている。
Robin Flux
Robin Flux is a German producer, DJ, dancer and artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Being influenced by the early era of underground dance and club culture in the US, Robin developed his own unique style between House and Techno with discerning dips into Ballroom, Garage, Tribal, Breakbeat and Disco.
Being active in the house dance, waacking and ballroom communities, creating queer safe spaces for dance culture and freedom of expression is a major drive for his work. In recent years, he has played gigs and organized parties in many places around the world, including the US, Europe and Asia, while continuously releasing his music on international labels such as Miura Records, with features on XLR8R, The Lot Radio NYC and Dure Vie Paris, among others.
